With the launch of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) on 31st December 2012, today Charles Stanley unveils its RDR-ready website for Intermediaries and Financial Advisers:

The new website aims to be a one-stop service for Financial Advisers seeking to place client business with Charles Stanley across a wide-range of services. The site is easy to navigate and makes clear the new charging structures going forward in the post-RDR world.

Speaking about the launch, James Stewart-Smith, Head of Intermediary Sales and a Director of Charles Stanley & Co. Limited commented: "The new website is a rich multi-media resource for Financial Advisers in the post-RDR environment. We are offering transparency of charging, ease of account opening and ongoing servicing via fact sheets, video, multi and social media within an easy to navigate framework that we hope will make life easier for Financial Advisers in 2013. Our Sales Team is expanding all the time to cover the country and take advantage of the Group's 32-strong office network and the website will hopefully become a focal point and integral part of our strategy going forward."

Services are easily categorised into three sections: Bespoke, Models and Funds, whilst all brochureware, forms, charge sheets and service levels are covered in the relevant tabs in the main navigation.

Bespoke Discretionary and Advisory Management form the flagship services on the new website allowing Financial Advisers to hand over the day to day management of their client's portfolios to our specialist Investment Managers who monitor holdings and make decisions on their client's behalf within the agreed risk profiling.

For those Financial Advisers wishing to place client assets within our Model Portfolios we offer two services: Collectives Portfolio Service (CPS) and our DFM Model Portfolio Service. The CPS is a discretionary investment management service, which invests solely in funds and products, providing clients with a managed exposure to best-in-class third party fund managers.

For The DFM Model Portfolio Service, Charles Stanley has created three investment strategies aimed at those clients who prefer to be invested directly into UK shares and bonds. Portfolios are actively managed with the manager calling on the in-house expertise of our Matterley Team for UK equities, our Sutherland bond division for fixed interest and our Collectives Portfolio Service team for the international asset allocation and individual fund choices. Fact sheets are available for all three strategies to download from the website.

Alongside, and complementary to, our Bespoke and Model Portfolio Service options, is our in-house Fund Management division which sits under the umbrella branding of Matterley Asset Management, offering a wide range of funds that are ranked consistently highly and offer exposure to a variety of markets and financial instruments.

Financial Advisers may also take advantage of daily commentary and financial news from Charles Stanley's award-winning research department via the "News" tab and may also access their client portfolios by logging into the Secure Client Area which consistently wins praise for its ease of use and functionality.
