BALA CYNWYD, Pa., Jan. 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Central European Distribution Corporation (Nasdaq: CEDC) today announced it has agreed to grant the exclusive importation rights of Zubrowka Vodka in the United States to Remy Cointreau USA, Inc. As a result, Remy Cointreau USA, will be the exclusive import agent for the Zubrowka brand of Vodka produced by CEDC in Poland. Zubrowka Bison Grass Vodka, which traces its origins to 14(th) century Poland, is one of the most popular selling vodkas in Poland today, and is sold in over 50 countries worldwide. It is a favorite of European barmen because of its very unique flavor which is derived from "bison grass", an aromatic plant from northern Poland. Remy Cointreau USA, a subsidiary of Remy Cointreau, SA, a world leader in premium spirits, is also the exclusive importer of premium and ultra premium brands such as Remy Martin® Cognac, Cointreau® Liqueur, and Metaxa® Greek Liqueurs.
