C.T.I. Traffic Industries Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 149.969 million compared to TWD 102.421 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 5.630 million compared to operating loss of TWD 3.679 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 1.791 million compared to net loss of TWD 1.779 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.04 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.04 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 297.462 million compared to TWD 198.211 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 4.859 million compared to operating loss of TWD 9.908 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 596,000 compared to net loss of TWD 5.773 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.01 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.14 a year ago.
C.T.I. Traffic Industries CO., LTD is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of piston rings and automobile parts. The Company's piston rings include compression rings, chrome plated keystone-type piston rings, steel oil-retaining rings, chrome plated blooming piston rings, nitrides piston rings, and nitrides blooming piston rings, among others. The piston rings are applied in automobiles. Its automobile parts include engine repair kits, automobile lamps, engine parts, brake system parts, timing belt parts and other accessories. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and to overseas markets, including the Americas, Europe, Africa and the rest of Asia.
