This is with reference to the notice no. 20240306-35 dated March 6, 2024 and Notice no. 20240429-54 dated April 29, 2024 in respect of 'Changes in online PAN Verification process for Mutual Fund clients at Registrar & Transfer Agent (RTAs)'.

Members are hereby informed that Date of Birth(DOB)/Date of Incorporation(DOI) is one of the mandatory fields for verification of Name of Client as per IT Database/PAN.<_o3a_p>

In view of the same, members are hereby requested to note that Date of Birth(DOB)/Date of Incorporation(DOI) is made mandatory for all the holders in UCC including Guardian in case of Minor Client.

It has been observed that UCCs have been registered on BSE StAR MF platform where DOB/DOI is missing or incorrect. Any orders received for fresh folio creation where DOB/DOI is missing or incorrect are liable to be rejected by RTA.<_o3a_p>

Members are requested take a note of the above and update DOB/DOI for all the holders in existing UCC.<_o3a_p>

The above validations shall be made live effective from Tuesday May 14, 2024.
