Alexander Afonin has been appointed Head of the Credit Product Sales Directorate of the Corporate Investment Business Department of the Bank of Moscow

The Bank of Moscow announces the appointment of Alexander Afonin as Head of the Credit Product Sales Directorate of the Corporate Investment Business Department. The Directorate's functions will include sales of the line of credit products of the Bank of Moscow to companies receiving proceeds exceeding 10 billion rubles per year, and its activities will be carried out as part of the global product line of the corporate investment business (CIB) of VTB Group.

Alexander Afonin was born in Grozny. In 1995, he graduated from the Moscow State Technological University Stankin, and in 1998, the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. He has been working in the corporate banking business for more than 10 years. From 2000 to 2002, he was the Deputy Head of the Branch Customer Unit at Alfa-Bank. From 2002 to 2010, he was the head of branch customer units and the Corporate Customer Directorate of MDM Bank. From 2011 until his employment at the Bank of Moscow, he was the Chief Executive Officer for Corporate Business at Uralsib Bank.
