Aurona Industries, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 316.401 million compared to TWD 349.546 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 1.463 million compared to TWD 25.175 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 5.828 million compared to TWD 40.053 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.07 compared to TWD 0.49 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.07 compared to TWD 0.47 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 603.770 million compared to TWD 694.168 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 412,000 compared to operating Income of TWD 54.556 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 14.490 million compared to TWD 66.765 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.18 compared to TWD 0.81 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was TWD 0.17 compared to TWD 0.77 a year ago.
Aurona Industries Inc is a Taiwan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture and sales of back-up boards and bakelite plates. The Company also offers wood pulp boards, laminated wood pulp boards, interleaving paper and others. The Company's back-up boards are mainly used in printed circuit board (PCB) drilling process. Its bakelite plates are applied in PCBs, adjustable resistances, pneumatic tools, micro motors, molds, tools, switches, information technology (IT) testing tools and others. The Company distributes its products in Taiwan market, and to the Americas, Europe, the rest of Asia and other markets.
