Fayat SA agreed to acquire Dynapac AB from Atlas Copco AB (OM:ATCO A) on January 19, 2017. The deal includes sales and service operations in 37 countries and production units in five countries; Sweden, Germany, Brazil, India and China. Following the acquisition, under the Fayat umbrella, Dynapac will continue to operate as an autonomous manufacturer selling products under the Dynapac brand. In 2016, Dynapac AB had revenue of approximately SEK 2.9 billion. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals, including approval from Competition and Markets Authority, and is expected to be completed during the second quarter of 2017. As of May 30, 2017 Competition and Markets Authority approved the deal.
