Apogee Optocom Company Limited announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2018. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 100.835 million compared to TWD 119.282 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 12.381 million compared to operating Income of TWD 6.006 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 9.983 million compared to net income of TWD 8.345 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.3 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.26 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 325.988 million compared to TWD 437.274 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 8.532 million compared to operating Income of TWD 92.170 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 1.904 million compared to net income of TWD 66.800 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.06 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 2.08 a year ago.
Apogee Optocom Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, production and distribution of precision optical components, dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) key components, such as thin film filter (TFF). The Company mainly provides optical filters used as active and passive components for optical communication. In addition, it is involved in the optical coating for light emitting diode (LED) optical crystal chips. The Company also distributes spectrometers.
