This is to inform you that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held today i.e on 29th March 2022, based on the recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee and subject to approval of the shareholders of the Company at the ensuing Annual General Meeting, approved the following:

1. Re-appointment of Shri Abhiraj Choksey as Managing Director of the Company for the period of 3 years with effect from 1st May 2022. The intimation pursuant to the requirements of the SEBI Circular No. CIR/CFD/CMD/4/2015 dated 9th September, 2015, is enclosed herewith as Annexure -A

1	Reason for change viz. appointment	The present term of Shri Abhiraj Choksey, Managing Director ends on 30th April 2022. He has been re-appointed for a further term.
2	Date of appointmentappointment &termof	Shri Abhiraj Choksey has been re-appointed as Managing Director at the meeting of Board of Directors held today i.e on 29th March 2022. The term of re-appointment is from 1st May 2022 to 30th April 2025. The re-appointment is subject to approval of shareholders in the ensuing AGM of the Company.
3	Brief profile (in case of appointment);	Shri Abhiraj Choksey graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees in Engineering and Business from Wharton. He worked in strategy consulting and IT in the United States for a few years before joining Apcotex in 2005. He is associated with the Company since 2005 in various capacities and has been the Managing Director since May 2010. He is on the Executive Committee of the Indian Chemical Council (ICC), and an active member of Young Presidents Organization (YPO) and Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO).
4	Disclosure of relationships between directors (in case of appointment of a director).	Shri Abhiraj Choksey is related to Shri Atul Choksey and Shri Amit Choksey, Non-executive Directors of the Company
