Caltex Australia announced the appointment of Matthew Halliday to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. Halliday brings significant experience in senior finance and commercial roles gained in global ASX-listed and professional services organisations. In a 20-year career at Rio Tinto, after joining from PWC, Mr. Halliday held the role of CFO in several divisions, including Rio Tinto Energy, Rio Tinto Coal Australia and, most recently, in Rio Tinto Aluminium based in Montreal, Canada. Halliday's appointment follows the resignation of Simon Hepworth who will be retiring following a 23-year career with Caltex. Mr. Hepworth will work closely with Halliday through a transition phase to ensure an appropriate handover. Halliday will commence as CFO of Caltex on 15 April 2019.
