OSLO, Norway - May 16, 2024 - Agilyx ASA (OSE: AGLX; OTCQX: AGXXF) ("Agilyx" or
"the company"), a technology company that enables customers to recycle the most
challenging post-use plastics to high value, virgin-equivalent products, today
announced changes to its board, including the appointment of Peter Norris as
board chair. Former board chair, Jan Secher, has resigned from the board. These
changes are effective immediately, following the company's annual general
meeting (AGM). Please see the minutes from the AGM attached.

Peter Norris, who has been elected as Chair of the Board of Directors, has over
40 years' experience in investment banking and business management. He worked at
Barings and Goldman Sachs, before establishing his own corporate finance
business which in 2007 he merged with the AIM listed merchant bank Quayle Munro,
subsequently acquired by Houlihan Lokey. Mr. Norris also serves as the Chairman
of the Virgin Group, a position he took up in 2009. Prior to this he had acted
as an adviser to the Group from 1996 and had chaired Virgin Active from 2002 to
2007. He also currently chairs Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Hotels. Mr. Norris
previously served as board chair of Agilyx from July 2020 to October 2022.

Mr. Norris and his fellow board members have all been elected for a two-year
term that expires at the annual general meeting in 2026. The Agilyx Board of
Directors now consists of Peter Norris (Chair), Ranjeet Gill Bhatia, Carolyn
Sarah Clarke, Catherine Clinton Keenan, and Steen Jakobsen.
