Aurora Absolute Return Fund announced the appointment of Ms. Kim Rowe as member of its Compliance Committee to replace Mr. Mark Hancock who has resigned. Kim’s appointment will take effect immediately. Kim is a chartered accountant with over 20 years’ experience in accounting, governance and risk management within the financial services industry. She was previously Company Secretary and Head of Compliance at Hastings Funds Management, Company Secretary for Australian Infrastructure Fund Limited, Westpac Funds Management Limited and Utilities of Australia Pty Ltd. She had responsibility for ensuring compliance with ASIC and ASX requirements for those companies and any funds for which they were the responsible entity. This included both listed and unlisted funds. Prior to that she was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young in their Audit and Assurance advisory financial services team. Kim has strong funds management experience in both governance and financial reporting and the day to day management of a managed investment scheme and its regulatory environment.
