PURCHASE OF SHARES BY CONTROLLING SHAREHOLDER AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

This announcement is made by Add New Energy Investment Holdings Group Limited (the "Company") on a voluntary basis.

As informed by Mr. Li Yunde ("Mr. Li"), the Chairman, executive Director and controlling shareholder of the Company, he has acquired a total of 30,248,000 shares of the Company ("Shares") from the market on 19 and 22 January 2018. As at the date of this announcement, Mr. Li is interested in 2,078,386,660 Shares, representing approximately 45.28% of the issued share capital of the Company.

In addition, as informed by Mr. Geng Guohua ("Mr. Geng"), an executive Director and the chief executive officer of the Company, he has acquired a total of 2,610,000 Shares from the market on 11, 12, 15, 19 and 22 January 2018. As at the date of this announcement, Mr. Geng is interested in 4,094,000 Shares, representing approximately 0.09% of the issued share capital of the Company.
