1. THOMSON REUTERS, DIRECTOR OF CONSUMER RESEARCH, JHARONNE MARTIS, SAYING:

JOURNALIST ASKING JHARONNE MARTIS: 'Overall a lot of retailers are reporting their same store sales and they seem to be rather fairly strong, what are you seeing in terms of Wall Street's reaction in terms of analysts and their expectations?'

MARTIS: 'I notice them becoming more optimistic on the holiday season what we are seeing is a huge increase in estimates, especially in the same store sales area but also in the earnings sector. So what we are seeing is the same store sales expectations for the fourth quarter have increased from 1.2 percent to 1.8 percent in the last 30 days which shows more optimism and shows that analyst are feeling better about the holiday season.'
