One grave-digging volunteer, Abdul Sattar, urged the international community to provide humanitarian and financial aid to the affected.

"I call upon the international community to provide humanitarian and financial aid to these affected people. Their first hope is God, followed by other countries. These people are stuck between the Earth and sky (they are helpless)" he said.
