Yungjin Pharm. applied for patent for its new "Limaprost" formulation technology.
"Limaprost" or "Limaprost alfadex" is a derivative of prostaglandin E1 used to prevent or treat peripheral circulatory disturbance, but it is an unstable substance. Yungjin improved the problem of its vulnerability to moisture and made drug intake more convenient with most convenient drug intake.
Yungjin plans to release "Opast tablet (Limaprost formulation)" in June and has the ambition to make it an annual sale of 10 million dollars product.
