WBI Investments, Inc. a leading provider of institutional and private client wealth management strategies led by Don Schreiber, Jr., today announced that the co-founder and portfolio strategist will present at the ETF industry’s most popular conference, Inside ETFs. Schreiber plans to discuss with attendees the smartest way yield-starved investors can achieve high current income and consistent capital growth.

Schreiber’s presentation: “A Rational Search for Yield in an Irrational World,” is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET today, Jan. 24, 2016, Track C of the conference. Inside ETFs is being hosted at Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Fl.

“If only it was simply a matter of investors choosing the best dividend payers of the S&P 500 or another index, to maximize the yield in a given portfolio,” said Schreiber, co-author of All About Dividend Investing (McGraw Hill 2011). “Selecting stocks with the highest yield as the only factor can give investors a false sense of comfort if not paired with a rigorous search for high quality fundamentals. Otherwise, investors can get blindsided. I’m here to offer a road map to navigate that industry-wide problem.”

In December, WBI introduced its first smart beta exchange traded fund – WBI Power Factor™ High Dividend ETF (NYSE Arca:WBIY). The fund seeks to provide investment results that correspond to the price and yield – before fees and expenses – of the Solactive Power Factor™ High Dividend Index, which the fund will be tracking. The stock selection process is based on WBI’s proprietary Power Factor™ model.

WBI is an innovator in the ETF space, and among its most successful entrants. When the firm launched its suite of 10 actively-managed WBI Shares ETFs in August of 2014, it achieved a historic milestone, surpassing $1 billion in assets on the first day of trading. The firm has $1.8 billion in assets under management as of 12/31/16, and its funds have approximately $1.04 billion in ETF assets under management (as of 1/12/17).

Said Schreiber: “Investors should get paid while they wait for stock prices to appreciate and they should guard their investment capital. It’s our mission to show them how.”
