ANCHOR QUESTION OFF-CAMERA (ENGLISH) SAYING:

So the quarter, it looks good (for Verizon) - stronger revenues, faster subscriber growth, they beat your number. The stock's down. What's going on?

JAMES MOORMAN, ANALYST, S&P CAPITAL IQ (ENGLISH) SAYING:

Yes, I think it's mostly concerned about what's going on in the wireless space overall. There are some questions on the call regarding how are you going to respond to competition and I think they've already responded to some. They said there was a lot- they did a lot of pricing, a lot of promotions. They had a very good subscriber number. I think there was some fear going out there with T-Mobile being so aggressive in the space. How is their number going to be in the quarter? The number in the quarter is very good. But they also said that they are not going to shrink away from competitive efforts going forward. I think that might be a little bit of the concern that people are scared about how aggressive this pricing or competitive war is going to be whether it's on the pricing plans or whether it's incentives to get people to come, offering discounts on equipment and things like that and still couldn't peck margins and I think that's what might be having people a little skittish today.

ANCHOR QUESTION OFF-CAMERA (ENGLISH) SAYING:

So what's your sense of it? With the stock going down - is it an opportunity to get in? How does it look to you?

JAMES MOORMAN, ANALYST, S&P CAPITAL IQ (ENGLISH) SAYING:

Yes, I have a 'hold' opinion on the stock. I think it's probably near my 12-month valuation, again, I think beyond the positive quarter and I like what they're doing going forward. However, I'm just concerned about competition. I think it is going to get very fierce. I think, as the other companies build out their wireless networks and become more competitive with the top two national players, there's more reason for them to attract and they're going to get more competitive in their offerings in terms of pricing I think to lure people away because it's really been a two-horse battle for a long time, a two-horse race. And now I think you've got the other two carriers getting more competitive with their competitive offering and then following that with competitive pricing I think it becomes, it could get a little ugly I think over the next year.
