2014 Product Calendar - The Census Bureau has posted anticipated release dates for each regular and recurring statistical product expected to be released in 2014. The products are listed in the Census Bureau's , which will be updated as needed throughout the year.

American Community Survey

Puerto Rico Community Survey Statistics in Spanish - Statistics from the 2012 Puerto Rico Community Survey will be released in Spanish via the Census Bureau's American FactFinder data access tool. The release will include 2012 one-year statistics for areas with populations of 65,000 or more, three-year statistics derived from data collected from 2010 to 2012 for geographic areas with populations of 20,000 or more, and five-year statistics covering 2008-2012 for all areas regardless of population size. These statistics have previously been released in English. More than 40 topics will be available including local statistics that cover educational attainment, housing, employment, commuting, veteran status, health insurance and selected monthly homeowner costs. (Scheduled for release Jan. 30.)

p>American Community Survey Brief: Foreign-Born Under 35: 2010-2012 - This brief uses multiyear data from the American Community Survey to present demographic and socio-economic information about the noncitizen population under age 35. (Scheduled for release in February.)

Demographic

Estimates of Income and Earnings by Selected Demographic Characteristics: 2012 Second Quarter - Using data collected by the Survey of Income and Program Participation, this table package presents income and earnings statistics at the individual, family and household level for the second quarter (April, May and June) of 2012. Quarterly statistics by selected demographic characteristics, such as gender, race/ethnicity, age, marital status and highest level of educational attainment, are also provided. In addition, this table package presents monthly income and earnings statistics for individuals, families and households. (Scheduled for release late January or early February.)

Computer and Internet Use: 2012 - Based on Current Population Survey statistics from July 2012, the Computer and Internet Access in the United States infographic provides household and individual level analysis of computer use and Internet access, as well as a profile of individual smartphone usage. A set of tables will accompany the infographic. (Tentatively scheduled for release Jan. 30.)

New Survey of Income and Program Participation Panel: 2014 - Newly redesigned Survey of Income and Program Participation (SIPP), which collects data about Americans' economic well-being, is being implemented for 2014. SIPP includes questions on poverty and participation in welfare programs, health insurance and medical expenses, family relationships and other related characteristics. The survey provides a variety of federal agencies with data they need to produce crucial statistics about incomes in the United States. (Scheduled for release Feb. 3.)

American Community Survey Migration Statistics - These migration products, based on statistics from the American Community Survey, show how many U.S. residents during the course of a year moved from one county to another. They include the 2007-2011 data tables (the County-to-County Migration File) that present such information by educational attainment, individual income and personal household, as well as the Census Flows Mapper, an interactive mapping application that allows the user to visualize these data by educational attainment and income. Also included is a PowerPoint tutorial on how to use the flows file and mapper and a working paper analyzing findings. (Embargo of news release, tables and working paper begins Feb. 5; public release Feb. 6.)

Educational Attainment in the United States: 2012 - This report, based on the Current Population Survey, provides a portrait of academic achievement by demographic characteristics, such as age, sex, average earnings, and Hispanic origin. The report also includes detailed information on years of school completed, showing how many years of education adults have completed for each level of attainment. A variety of historical time series tables going back to 1940 are also provided, as are graphs illustrating historical data. (Scheduled for release Feb. 4.)

Facts for Features

Women's History Month: March 2014 - In commemoration of this annual observance highlighting and celebrating the varied and historic accomplishments of women, this edition provides statistical information on topics such as earnings, education, business ownership, voting, occupations, military service and marriage. (Scheduled for release in February.)

Training Opportunities

Census Bureau Offers Training Opportunities - Webinars are available to help the public access and use Census Bureau statistics. These free sessions, lasting about 60 to 90 minutes, show how to use census databases and mapping tools, find demographic and economic statistics at a local or national level and provide quick links for answers to frequently asked questions about accessing statistics.

"America by the Numbers" on C-SPAN's "Washington Journal" - Tune in each Friday morning to C-SPAN's "America by the Numbers" for insight into key official statistics from the Census Bureau and other statistical agencies. Poverty, childbearing, education, health, the economy - topics discussed focus on the key issues of the day. The program highlights the trends and allows people to call in or email their views. Find Your Ideal Place with Census Bureau's Newest App - A Census Bureau mobile app named"dwellr" can help people on the go access key demographic, socio-economic and housing statistics for thousands of places across the nation. Stay Connected to the Economy with Census Bureau Mobile App - Every week, the Department of Commerce releases key Census Bureau economic indicators. National and State Population Estimates with Components of Change: July 1, 2013 - Jan. 23 - Population estimates are available on American FactFinder for the nation, states and Puerto Rico. The estimates include annual components of change (births, deaths and migration) as well as monthly national estimates since the 2010 Census. Measuring Alternative Educational Credentials - Jan. 16 - The Census Bureau's first-ever report on the number and characteristics of adults with educational credentials other than academic degrees, such as a professional certification or license, or educational certificate. Facts for Features

Super Bowl XLVIII (Feb. 2) - Jan. 24 - Super Bowl Sunday has become a de facto national holiday and has evolved into the nation's most-watched television broadcast each year. This year's Facts for Features includes comparisons of larger versus smaller population cities and their relative success in the Super Bowl, as well as demographic breakdowns of the two cities participating in this year's big game. Black History Month: February - Jan. 16 - To commemorate and celebrate the contributions to our nation made by people of African descent, the Census Bureau presents a collection of demographic and economic statistics about the black community. Irish-American Heritage Month (March) and St. Patrick's Day (March 17) - Jan. 15 - You may not find a pot of gold at the end of this edition of Facts for Features, but you will find it useful and informative nonetheless. Infographics

Infographic Highlights U.S.-Canada Trade - Jan. 17 - The Department of Commerce has released a new infographic, "International Trade Between U.S. and Canada," which celebrates the world's largest and most comprehensive trading relationship. It illustrates the top U.S. imports from and exports to Canada and presents an annual time series of data on trade between the two neighbors. The time begans shortly after the start of an agreement between the U.S. and Canada in January 1990 to share import data to be used as the other country's export data.http://www.commerce.gov/media/photo/2014/01/17/international-trade-between-us-and-canada>.
