Seasonal and calendar adjusted retail sales volume increased by 0.1% with constant prices in November 2016 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 0.3%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 0.4% and automotive fuel sales decreased by 0.7%.
Considering the details of the non-food sectors computers, books, telecommunications equipment sales decreased by 0.9%, electronic goods and furniture sales decreased by 2.3%, medical goods and cosmetic sales increased by 3.5%, sales via mail orders and internet increased by 8.3%, textiles, clothing and footwear sales increased by 0.6% compared with the previous month.

Retail sales volume decreased by 2.0% compared with the same month of previous year
Calendar adjusted retail sales volume with constant prices decreased by 2.0% in November 2016 compared with the same month of previous year. In the same month non-food (except automotive fuel) sales decreased by 1.7%, automotive fuel sales decreased by 3.3% and food, drinks and tobacco sales decreased by 1.5%.
Considering the details of the non-food sectors computers, books, telecommunications equipment sales decreased by 3.8%, electronic goods and furniture sales decreased by 10.5%, medical goods and cosmetic sales decreased by 1.1%, sales via mail orders and internet increased by 13.3% and textiles, clothing and footwear sales increased by 9.3% compared with the same month of previous year.

Retail turnover increased by 1.0% compared with the previous month
Seasonal and calendar adjusted retail turnover with current prices increased by 1.0% in November 2016 compared with the previous month. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 0.9%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 1.2% and automotive fuel sales increased by 0.9%.

Calendar adjusted retail turnover with current prices increased by 6.6% in November 2016 compared with the same month of previous year. In the same month food, drinks and tobacco sales increased by 6.5%, non-food (except automotive fuel) sales increased by 6.2% and automotive fuel sales increased by 7.6%.

EXPLANATIONS
No calendar effect observed in 'automotive fuel' indices. Therefore unadjusted series are used instead of calendar adjusted series.
