Non-domestic producer price index increased by 5.21%

Non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI), which measures the change in the price of goods manufactured in the country and exported in a reference period, increased by 5.21% on monthly basis, by 17.73% on December of the previous year basis, by 17.73% on same month of the previous year basis and by 6.68% on the twelve months moving averages basis in December 2016.

ND-PPI monthly increased by 5.77% in the index for mining and stone quarrying and by 5.20% in the index for manufacturing.

The highest monthly increase was in coke and refined petroleum products

The highest rates of monthly increase by sub divisions of industry were indices for coke and refined petroleum products by 18.37%, for computer, electronic and optical products by 8.55%, and for paper and paper products by 8.01%.

The highest monthly increase in main industrial groupings was in energy goods

According to main industrial groupings classification, the highest rates of monthly and annual increase were in energy goods in December 2016.
