Suntech Power : jointly launch high-efficiency N-type bifacial Solar module with Jolywood (Taizhou) Solar Technology

On January 19th，Suntech signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Jolywood (Taizhou) Solar Technology that they will jointly bring high-efficiency N-type bifacial solar module to market. This series increases power significantly by using N-type bifacial cell. It is reported that the comprehensive power of 60-cell solar module can reach over 310W and 72-cell solar module can be over 370W.
He Shuangquan, Executive President of Suntech said, because of the growing homogenization of PV market, technology and product innovation has become the core competence of sustainable development. N-type bifacial solar cell has many advantages, including double side power generation, high efficiency, low LID and excellent weak light performance. Not only can it meet the needs of large ground stations, but also be applied to distributed area. Compared to conventional modules, the experimental data shows that the N-type bifacial solar module can make the overall system power generation increased by about 20%.
