Emergency response teams have been deployed to assess the full extent of the damage on Tuesday (July 2).

In St. George's, the capital city of Grenada, numerous homes and businesses have suffered severe structural damage. Roads are littered with debris, and power outages have left many residents without electricity.

Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell confirmed three deaths.

On the islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique, the situation is equally dire. The Grenadian government has called for international assistance to help with the recovery efforts. As the islands begin the long process of rebuilding.
