Sinn Féin MLA Michelle Gildernew has condemned a pipe bomb attack on a car in Dungannon on Wednesday.
The Fermanagh South Tyrone MLA said:
'I condemn this cowardly attack on an elderly couple outright.
'I would urge those responsible desist from this activity before someone is seriously injured or killed.
'I spoke to the family involved and thankfully no one was injured but they have been left very shaken by the attack.
'I call on the police to do all they can to bring those responsible for this attack to account and call on anyone who has knowledge of those involved to bring it to the police.'
