(Reuters) - Shell's Canadian unit said on Wednesday it would build carbon capture and storage projects in Canada, in a bid to reduce emissions from its own operations and achieve its climate goals.

Shell Canada Products announced a Final Investment Decision (FID) for Polaris, designed to capture approximately 650,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide annually, and an FID to proceed with the Atlas Carbon Storage Hub in partnership with ATCO EnPower.
