By Company Announcement Schouw & Co. upgrades full-year 2011 EBIT guidance to approximately DKK 640 million
In our consolidated interim report for the third quarter of
2011, issued on November 3, 2011, full-year EBIT guidance was
upgraded for BioMar, Grene, Hydra-Grene and Martin
Professional and downgraded for Fibertex Personal Care,
Fibertex Nonwovens and Xergi.
However, based on the preliminary reports received, which are
unaudited, it is clear that BioMar's earnings in Q4 2011
were substantially better than expected, and bad debt
provisions are expected to be less than previously
anticipated.
In addition, Grene, Hydra-Grene and Martin Professional are
all expected to report slightly better full-year 2011 EBIT
than most recently guided, while Fibertex Personal Care,
Fibertex Nonwovens and Xergi are all expected to report EBIT
in line with the previous guidance.
As a result, Schouw & Co. now expects to report consolidated
full-year 2011 EBIT of around DKK 640 million rather than the
previously guided range of DKK 540-590 million.
Schouw & Co.'s 2011 Annual Report is scheduled for
release on March 8, 2012.
