President Petro Poroshenko instructed RSA Heads and Kyiv CSA Head to take immediate measures to provide humanitarian assistance to Avdiivka residents affected by artillery and missile shelling by Russian militants.
The shelling in Avdiivka has resulted into the termination of electricity supply and restriction of heating and water supply.
The top priority is to provide warm clothes, diesel fuel, heating facilities, food etc.
The Head of State has also instructed to determine places for temporary accommodation of Avdiivka residents in case of necessary evacuation of the city.
In order to implement these emergency actions, a headquarters to provide humanitarian assistance to the affected areas of the region has been established. It is coordinated by Donetsk RSA Head Pavlo Zhebrivskyi in close cooperation with all RSA Heads of Ukraine.
