PETROPERÚ Petróleos del Perú : PETROPERU guarantees the supply of fuel throughout the country

PETROPERÚ addresses public opinion to reiterate that it guarantees the supply of fuel at the national level. The Company has sufficient reserves of hydrocarbons, as well as the necessary capacity and logistics to provide products of the best quality and at the most competitive prices in the national market.

It should be remembered that the commitment of the state oil company with its mission of supplying fuel to the country has remained constant for more than 50 years of presence in the market; even in situations of serious complexity, such as the 2021 earthquake in Amazonas or the September 2007 earthquake in Paracas, as well as during the Coastal El Niño and other similar situations.

In these and other unforeseeable situations, PETROPERÚ has maintained the fuel supply in the national territory since it has the largest distribution network in the country, which also allows it to reach the most remote places by all possible routes: land, sea, air and river.

Likewise, we communicate that -thanks to its new commercial policy- the Company has recovered its leadership in the liquid fuels market in the last three months, reaching a 56% share in gasoline and 40% in diesel, as shown in the following chart:

This has been possible thanks to the enormous effort to obtain efficiencies by optimizing the expense budget, which has allowed a reduction in sales prices to the general public.

In this sense, the flagship Company reaffirms its commitment to the comprehensive development of the country.
