The first meeting, at 7:30 a.m., will focus on hematology, and the second one, at 12:30 p.m., will center on breast cancer.

The hematology meeting will be chaired by Suman Kambhampati, M.D., co-medical director of the blood cancer program at Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute. The following meeting on breast cancer will be chaired by Stephanie L. Graff, M.D., director of the breast program at the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute HCA Midwest Health and associate director of the breast cancer research program at Sarah Cannon Research Institute.

These interactive and educational meetings will discuss novel treatments for patients with hematologic malignancies and breast cancer, respectively. In the early summit on hematology, expert presenters will delve into topics facing hematologists, oncologists, nurses and other medical professionals, such as Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphomas, multiple myeloma, leukemia and more. The afternoon summit on breast cancer will discuss topics in breast cancer treatment such as novel approaches to HER2-positive breast cancer and management of hormone receptor-positive/HER2-negative early-stage disease escalation and de-escalation. In both summits, the presenters will engage in peer-exchange discussions and address audience questions. Attendees will also be provided with a networking breakfast and lunch.
