Complete Story

The Ohio AgriBusiness Association will hold two Anhydrous Ammonia Safety Workshops next month, Feb. 24 in Crestline, Ohio and Feb. 25 in Custar, Ohio.

The OABA's Anhydrous Ammonia Task Force has planned an educational training program for 2016, which features an interactive, hands-on format designed to help participants 'learn by doing.' Participants will spend the morning in a classroom setting, and will then move to a nearby anhydrous facility to apply the information presented in the first portion of the training. Participants will break into smaller, more interactive groups to participate in hands-on breakout sessions throughout the facility.

The training features experts from both outside and within the industry, along with government regulators. Highlights include NH3 properties and characteristics, emergency procedures, rules and regulations, and much more.
