Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke today with Bill Gates, Co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
The Prime Minister and Mr. Gates discussed their shared priority of advancing gender equality and women's empowerment, in particular through support for women's reproductive health and rights. They welcomed the partnership between the Government of Canada and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in this area and on other key global health and nutrition challenges, and looked forward to continuing this important collaboration.
