Activity of the primary and general secondary education institutions, beginning of the academic year 2016/17
National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the academic year 2016/17, primary and general secondary education is provided in 1291 units, including 122 primary schools, 788 secondary schools, 366 high schools and 15 schools for children with intelectual or physical disabilities. Compared to previous academic year, the number of primary and general secondary institutions has decreased with 32 units.
