At 3 p.m. EST on Jan. 13, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) is hosting a webinar to provide a detailed overview of proposed fee increases for agricultural quarantine inspections (AQI) at U.S. ports of entry.

The proposed increases, according to an agency statement, would ensure the AQI program has the financial stability it needs to safeguard U.S. agriculture from animal and plant diseases.

To participate, register online.

Instructions for accessing the webinar, including a unique registration code, will be emailed to registered participants. To avoid any problems connecting to the webinar, APHIS advises not sharing the registration code.
