Dr. Fakhro visited a number of factories in BIIP

Furtherance to enhance Ministry's orientations to follow up all issues related to industrial sector and stand on industrial facilities development, Industry and Commerce Minister Dr. Hassan Fakhro visited a number of factories in Bahrain International Investment Park accompanied by a number of Ministry's officials, where he was briefed factories status and listen to detailed explanation about production process and services offered to citizens and residents. He expressed in this regard government and Ministry support for all economic activities particularly industrial and commercial projects with added value to the national economy.

During his tour to the Ilium Company, where he was received by Project Director Mr. Pierre Dorgat and Mr. Luma Aljeshi , the minister was briefed on the nature of the project which specialized in manufacturing reinforced fiberglass.

Later the Minister head Al Maskati brothers, which is one of the most important local companies in producing paper, kitchen utensils, plastic and aluminum foil. General manager Mr. Khalid Al Masqati gave a detailed explanation on the latest developments that have been added to provide best products to the markets. In this regard, the minister noted to the role played by Al Maskati group in supporting economic development in the country.

Last visit was made to Universal Electro-Engineering, where he was received by Mr. Abdulrahman Mohammed Juma, who explained about company's work mechanisms which is considered an important product where the company produces low pressure controls and control paned, manufacture IT solutions connectivity, design and contracture data  centers, design and install fire and security systems and manufacture lighting and blackout control. In this regard the Minister praised the outstanding level and quality of the company's products.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Fakhro confirmed government keenness to support all businessmen and regional and global investments aimed to establish mega projects in the kingdom that would improve the national economy and enhance Bahrain's role as a global hub for trade and services.
