Appointment of New Chairman
On 17 December 2015, YB Dato' Sri Dr Muhammad Leo Michael Toyad Abdullah received his appointment letter as the new Chairman of Malaysian Rubber Board (MRB) from YB Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities. YB Dato' Sri's appointment is effective 1 January 2016.
YB Dato' Sri Dr Muhammad Leo Michael Toyad Abdullah is currently the Member of Parliament for the Mukah constituency in Sarawak, representing the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB). YB Dato' Sri Dr Muhammad Leo Michael Toyad Abdullah was first elected to Parliament in the 1982 election. In 1987, he became Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, and after the 2004 election he was appointed as the Minister for Tourism.
