Long & Foster Real Estate announced today that Kathy Killion and Michael Shor of the Long & Foster Commercial Division in Vienna, Virginia, recently closed a $1.25 million transaction in Springfield, Virginia.

Killion and Shor represented the sellers in the sale of approximately 8,000-square foot flex building. The sellers said they were pleased with the quick and effortless transaction, which took less than 30 days from contract to settlement.

Factors influencing the buyer's decision in the transaction included a great location in an up-and-coming market, a unique building that was a great fit for their growing business, and the close proximity to Washington, D.C., and the local interstate system.

'We're very pleased to have negotiated this transaction for the sellers,' said Ron Glass, vice president and managing broker of the Long & Foster Commercial Division. 'We're confident this will be a good fit for the buyer.'
