Jet2.com and Jet2holidays enjoyed a triumphant night at the Travel Weekly Globe Awards yesterday, picking up two prestigious national accolades which were voted for by the travel industry.

Jet2.com beat off competition from the other major airlines yet again to be voted Best Short Haul airline by UK travel agents for the 4th time in six years. Meanwhile, Jet2holidays scooped the Best Short Haul Operator award, with agents recognising the leading package holiday specialist in a field which included all the major tour operators.

The Globes are regarded as one of the industry's leading awards ceremonies, celebrating the very best in travel. The high profile accolades come on the back of a host of award wins in 2016 for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, kicking off the New Year in style.
