Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited distributed winter clothes at North Matlab area of Chandpur District. Professor Syed Ahsanul Alam, Vice Chairman of the Bank distributed winter clothes among more than one thousand people as chief guest. Major General (Retd.) Engineer Abdul Matin, Chairman, Executive Committee and Md. Syful Islam, FCA, FCMA, Director of the Bank were present on the occasion as special guests. Md. Nizamul Haque, Executive Vice President and Head of Comilla Zone of the bank, Shamsul Haque Chowdhury, Chairman of Mohonpur Union Parisad along with executives, officials of the bank and local elites were present on the occasion.
Professor Syed Ahsanul Alam as chief guest said, Islami Bank has been working in serving the poor and destitute people in the society through its CSR activities side by side banking services. Terming Islami Bank a poor-friendly one, he said the Bank is working in removing the poverty through its Rural Development Scheme
