(Alliance News) - Ireland industrial output rose both monthly and annually in November, according to the Central Statistics Office on Monday.

The CSO's seasonally adjusted production index rose 7.8% in November from October, and jumped 37% from November 2021.

In the three months to September, output rose 14% from three months earlier, the period from June to August.

"The increase in industrial output largely reflects increases in manufacturing activity and contract manufacturing in the multinational sectors," said CSO statistician Eamonn Cleary.
