Indonesia's Jan coal benchmark price at 19-month high - energy ministry

JAKARTA (Reuters) - Indonesia's monthly coal benchmark price (HBA) is set at $75.84 per tonne for January, up from $59.65 a month earlier, the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry said on Monday.

It was the highest pricing since June 2019, Refinitiv data showed.

Demand from China, Indonesia's second biggest coal export destination, has helped prices recover, ministry spokesman Agung Pribadi said in a statement.
