• Jörg Raaymann to leave Helaba
  • Jürgen Wiedmann named as successor

Dr Jörg Raaymann, General Manager of the Organisation and IT unit, is leaving the company by mutual agreement to pursue new professional challenges after almost one and a half decades of service. Dr Raaymann, who has a PhD in business administration, joined Helaba from Deutsche Bank in 2003.

'For almost 15 years, Jörg Raaymann successfully led and expanded the unit as a central IT service provider within the Helaba Group. We would like to thank him very much for his commitment and wish him continued success in achieving his professional goals in future', says Dr Detlef Hosemann, a member of Helaba's Board of Managing Directors.

In order to meet the increased regulatory requirements in the banking sector for organisational and IT-related aspects, the unit of 'Organisation and IT' was divided into the two separate units of 'Organisation', under the leadership of Peter Leimert, and 'Information Technology (IT)'. The IT unit will be managed jointly by Manuela Bieß and Dr Jürgen Wiedmann, previously the head of Settlements who succeeds Dr Raaymann.
