In football, an easy interception is sometimes called a “biscuit.” Today, Hardee’s® announced that any “biscuit” returned to the “house” for a touchdown during Sunday’s game will unlock a free, Made From Scratch™ Sausage Biscuit for everyone that visits a participating Hardee’s location on Friday, February 8, 2019, from 7:00am-10:00am local.

“Hardee’s is well-known quality you can taste, highlighted by our fresh made from scratch biscuits,” said Jenna Folk, Director of Brand Marketing, Hardee’s. “While neither quarterback wants to throw a ‘biscuit’ that gets returned for a touchdown, there should be some solace in knowing millions of Americans will be enjoying a delicious, complimentary Sausage Biscuit if they do.”

Hardee’s is partnering with former All-Pro James Harrison, who is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of his historic 100-yard interception return and touchdown, to help spread the word.

“It’s hard to believe a whole decade has passed since I picked-off that ‘biscuit’ and took it to the ‘house’ for a touchdown,” said Harrison. “Big plays always add to the electric atmosphere of the championship game. Hardee’s has some delicious home style biscuits so I’ll be rooting for a ‘Pick 6’ so we can make sure all of America gets to take one on the house – on the house.”
