Halifax Regional Municipality : Sewer System Maintenance-Maine Avenue, Halifax

Attention motorists and pedestrians, Halifax Water crews will be undertaking sewer system maintenance tomorrow (Saturday, January 27^th) morning near 171 Main Avenue.

The work is scheduled to get underway at 8 a.m. tomorrow morning and is estimated to be complete early afternoon, weather permitting. There will be no loss of municipal services.

There will be stop and go traffic in the work zone. The sidewalks in the work zone will remain open. Experienced traffic control personnel will be on-site. On site personnel will also maintain communication with local residents and businesses to help minimize disruption.

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes. Motorists are also reminded that speed fines double in work zones.
