The City of Greater Bendigo will hold its first citizenship ceremony for 2017 at the Bendigo Town Hall on Australia Day Thursday January 26.

Thirty people from Bangladesh, Malta, Burma, Thailand, Iran, Denmark, Canada, South Korea, Phillipines, United Kingdom, India, Myanmar, New Zealand and Pakistan will become Australian Citizens at a special ceremony in the Bendigo Town Hall.

Greater Bendigo will join hundreds of towns and regions across the nation in welcoming our newest citizens as part of the 2017 Australia Day celebrations.

Australia Day is a special day for Australians to come together and celebrate our community and this is going to be a very special occasion for the 30 Greater Bendigo residents who have decided to become Australian citizens this year.
