July 15 (Reuters) - Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell said on Monday he does not see the U.S. economy hitting major economic turbulence or an outright recession.
A hard landing scenario for the U.S. is "not the most likely or a likely scenario," Powell told an Economic Club of Washington, D.C. gathering. (Reporting by Michael S. Derby Editing by Chris Reese)
