EverBank announced today its continued Cornerstone Partnership with The Vail Valley Foundation, helping to sponsor select arts and entertainment projects, athletics and educational events and other programs produced by the nonprofit organization.

Under the partnership, EverBank will be a national sponsor and the official bank of the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail and Beaver Creek, February 2-15. The event will mark the third time that the Vail Valley has played host to this prestigious international event, joining the 1989 and 1999 Championships. The World Championships is the premier alpine ski event in 2015, bringing together the world’s top skiers.

In December of 2014, EverBank began its Cornerstone Partnership with The Vail Valley Foundation, sponsoring the Audi Birds of Prey World Cup’s annual races in Beaver Creek, Colorado. The event, which took place December 5-7, featured many of the world’s best alpine skiers and was an important run-up to the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships.

“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with The Vail Valley Foundation as official bank of this premier ski event,” said Blake Wilson, EverBank’s president and chief operating officer. “The 2014 Audi Birds of Prey World Cup was a remarkable event, and our overarching partnership provides EverBank with a great opportunity to work with The Vail Valley Foundation to sponsor a wide range of arts, athletic and educational programs and allow us to introduce our company to a wider audience. We’re looking forward to helping make the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships an exciting and engaging event.”

The 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships is the second major ski sponsorship for EverBank. The company has held the naming rights to EverBank Field, home of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars since 2010, and partnership with the Vail Valley Foundation continues the company’s national sponsorship efforts.

“We are honored to extend this relationship with such a recognized and dedicated sponsor like EverBank,” said Michael Imhof, SVP, Sales & Operations at the Vail Valley Foundation. “Working together, our two organizations helped make the 2014 Audi Birds of Prey World Cup a great success, and we know that our continued partnership will make the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships a remarkable event for sports fans here in the Vail Valley and around the world.”
