Creditera, the first online platform to make both personal and business credit readily available to small businesses, today announced that it will launch the first mobile app for both business and personal credit scores, expanding the convenience and usefulness of Creditera's online services to subscribers on their mobile devices.

From the app, small business owners will be able to access and monitor industry-standard scores, including personal and business credit reports from Experian. Small business owners on the go will gain greater visibility into how these key risk-assessment services factor into the lending process.

"This app will give small business owners something they've never had before - the ability to access and monitor their personal and business credit in the palm of their hand," said Levi King, CEO and co-founder of Creditera. "Many financial institutions use these credit scores to help them make lending decisions, especially in the case of small business owners who haven't built up a business credit history. Creditera's app will make it easy for those entrepreneurs to have a comprehensive view of their credit health in real time."

In addition to live member support, the Creditera app will also include access to Creditera's monitoring services, which actively monitor suspicious activity with social security numbers and debit, credit, or ATM cards. The app will notify subscribers immediately if their identity has been stolen, which can be remedied through Creditera's identity theft insurance and recovery services.

"The Creditera app helps me get access to my credit score and credit report right when I need it," said Ryan Page, CEO of PROGENEX. "With immediate access to the info I need, I have more control over taking my business in the direction it needs to be. I just feel like Creditera gives me the peace of mind that the security of my credit and personal information are being monitored closely."

King co-founded Creditera in 2012 after experiencing problems in the loan process for his own small businesses. Like other small business owners, King had run legitimate, profitable businesses, but ran into issues when his business credit score prevented him from receiving the most favorable loans terms. This led King to start Creditera, giving business owners easy access to personal and business credit reports, scores and ongoing alerts through a single sign-on dashboard.

"Lenders place a premium on a credit risk assessment when it comes time to consider requests for business loans," said Tim Jochner, CEO and president of Superior Financial Group, a lender that supports small businesses. "Now, with Creditera's app, these same owners will be able to conduct important business and assess their options and advancement from anywhere."
