Consort Medical today announces that Nick Higgins, Corporate Development Director, will be leaving the Company and resigning as a Director effective 28th February 2013 to pursue a career as an independent consultant. Nick joined Consort in January 2010 as Director of Corporate Development and was appointed to the Board in January 2011. Following Nick's departure, Consort's growth strategy will not change. We will continue to look at a range of organic and non-organic growth opportunities using a variety of Business Development resources.
Commenting on the change, Jon Glenn, CEO, said: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Nick for his considerable contribution as a key member of the Executive team over the past three years. Nick was integral to the formulation of the strategy that the Group has been successfully following for the past three years and led the process managing the strategic divestment of King Systems. We wish him well in his next role."
