As of Monday, Saskatoon Transit will start its service out of the Civic Operations Centre (COC). Saskatoon Transit will be completing the move from its current Caswell Hill location to the COC on Valley Road starting today.

The new 450,000 square foot Saskatoon Transit facility at the COC is a model of innovation and efficiency. The state-of-the-art facility is LEED certified, has 27 maintenance bays, quick service and a full body shop including an upholstery shop and paint booth. The facility also includes indoor heated storage for 224 buses, two indoor bus washes and fueling stations. In addition, administrative offices, meeting rooms, training rooms and a dispatch area are part of the new building.

This facility was built with the future in mind and will accommodate the fleet expansion expected over the next 10 to 15 years.

No interruptions to transit service are expected. Saskatoon Transit thanks citizens, transit customers and transit employees for their patience and understanding during the transition to the new facility.
