China commercial banks sell net $7.1 billion of forex in December - FX regulator

BEIJING, Jan 18 (Reuters) - China's commercial banks sold a net $7.1 billion of foreign exchange in December, compared with a net sale of $17.9 billion in November, the foreign exchange regulator said on Friday.

For the January to December period, net forex sales stood at $56.0 billion, the State Administration of Foreign Exchange said in a statement on its website.
